So chances are by now either you or someone you know has a Gmail account. And if you/they are good, they make use of Gmail's labels feature. Labels are a lot nicer than folders because one "conversation" (really just a chain of emails with the same subject, instead of calling it "re: RE: RE: re:re:RE: Hello Bob") can have several labels instead of being confined to a single folder. (Here's looking at you: Yahoo! mail!) Usually labels are set up with a certain parameter such a "Has the words: 'Jimbo Johns Jr.' and 'skip the inbox (archive it)."
